The 2nd Act of 3D
As we get closer to our announcement on December 2nd, we will be dropping small clues about what’s to come. If you want to be one of the first to know what we’re cooking up, sign up for the announcement at LOOK.GLASS/DEC2.
While holographic displays gain recognition as the ideal 3D display system, capture technology is improving and becoming accessible. Every day we're seeing more people dip their toes into 3D creation using tools they already have like their iPhones.
A new day for 3D media is quickly approaching, and the timing couldn’t be better.
Looking Glass Factory CEO Shawn Frayne recently tested the LiDAR camera on the new iPhone 12 Pro, and it’s safe to say that we’re excited.

Every step on our path inventing the Looking Glass was preparing us for a day when high quality 3D capture technology would be widely available and easy to use. Now that thousands of people are going to be walking around with high-fidelity LiDAR sensors in their iPhones, the 2nd Act of 3D can begin.
