#19: Hologram & Chill with Vimeo’s Holographic Channel

Vimeo made a channel of holographic videos for your Looking Glass. Yup, you read that right.

Holographic videos can now stream directly to any and all Looking Glasses around the world with a click of a button. One of the creators of this amazing application, Casey Pugh, wrote all about it here.

“Moose”, the very first holographic dog to be streamed from Vimeo. (Moose was captured thanks to the team at DepthKit working with the Vimeo folks)

This is a remarkable achievement and I believe it will go down as a significant landmark in the evolution of storytelling and media. Rover led the world into the era of 2D movies in 1905, and I think Moose (shown above) is doing that for holographic video.
