#12: HoloGiphy
Imagine a world in which you can send 3D holographic gifs to your friends as quickly as you can on your phone. Got it? Okay, well you don’t have to imagine anymore because it’s a thing.

Our frequent collaborators, Kevin Watters and Fernando Ramallo, have created an application through which you can do exactly that — create animated, 3D holographic gifs made up of gifs from Giphy. Now is that a tongue twister, or what?
I present to you — CONTENT CREATOR SIMULATOR.

Simply put, it’s an animation tool that pulls from Giphy’s database of gifs to give users a zany and surprisingly robust way to create in the Looking Glass. You can search for gifs as backgrounds, place them as stickers; you can even set up an animation of up to four frames with the individual scenes you’ve created.
CAN I GET A HOLO-BACK???

You can publish and share your scenes with other Content Creators, or browse through a world of holographic gifs and remix other scenes into your own. What’s neat about Content Creator Simulator is that you’re able to create animations even without a Looking Glass. Though it might be challenging to create without a good grasp of your three-dimensional scene on a 2D monitor, and that’s what a Looking Glass is for.
I warn you though — it’s really fun and addicting.

*this is part of our “100 Days of Holograms” series, where Missy Senteio and Shawn Frayne of Looking Glass Factory post one new wonderful or weird (or both!) use for the Looking Glass holographic display each day.
